Subscription magazine from the US not arriving. Due to protests?

Featured Replies

I subscribe to a weekly mag that should be delivered to my door weekly (albeit a week/10 days after it comes out in the US). for the last 3 or 4 weeks it hasn't been coming. It has been delayed in the past (I never knew why) and sometimes 2 or 3 will arrive together. My gf mentioned it might be because of the protests. Possible?

My stuff has also arrived late ( from the US) but because of the snow storm and the airport. I think the protest in Thailand has nothing to do with at this moment.

I've had no problems with regular International mail far from Bangkok perhaps my stuff from UK and OZ is routed via C Mai,why not ask your Post Office, important stuff can be tracked if you have the codes.

Good Luck

Is this a news magazine? Sometimes international news publications are not distributed in Thailand if they may be deemed to violate certain censorship laws. I don't know if subscriptions by mail are affected, but weekly issues of "The Economist" have failed to make the news racks a few times in the last six months.

Hmm, well, it's The New Yorker. It's made it here for years and was fine up until about a month ago. I can't imagine they would put Thailand on the cover but you never know. They do cover a wide range of things...
