"Must Have" Motorcycle Movies and Documentaries

Featured Replies

So far I've got:

On Any Sunday

Dust to Glory

Faster

Fastest

The Unrideables

TT:3D Closer to the Edge

Long Way Round full series

Long Way Down full series

World's Fastest Indian

Little Fauss and Big Halsey (worth a look- it's on KAT)

Stone

Roadside Prophets

Easy Rider

Any other suggestions would be appreciated (I'm looking for stuff where bikes are an integral part, rather than movies that have a bike scene like Mission Impossible or Bond flicks- any fans of 'Torque' or 'Biker Boyz' need not apply;)- there are a few things I'd like (i.e. The Barry Sheene Story) that I can't find.

I've got Twist of the Wrist- I've heard of Mondo Enduro and I'll see if it's available.

That is a good collection RSD

I have many of those myself

The only ones I would add that I liked are

MotoGP related like

DTK2 ( The Doctor,The Tornado & The Kentucky Kid)

MotoGP Head to Head

The Kentucky Kid

edit: Also the new "On any Sunday The Next Chapter" would be nice to see

Also some of the instructional types like "Twist of The Wrist"

while maybe dated are valuable

On the subject of instructional...

PDF books easily found to download

like Kieth Code's "Twist of the Wrist 1 & 2"

also Nick Ienatsch's "Sport Riding Techniques"

Lastly this new movie/documentary "Road" narrated by Liam Neeson

looks good & hope it is out for purchase soon

"Why we ride" doco is essential viewing

"Take it to the Limit" is very good. Mike Hailwood doing a lap of the IOM and Kenny Roberts riding the 4 cylinder Yamaha dirt tracker on a mile oval.

Cool- some good suggestions (except from ll, who's fired;)).

hahahss.

dont like sons of anarchy i guess, aye?laugh.png

Then Came Bronson was a series in the US. Late 60's or early 70's, I think. The guy rode around on a Sportster that somehow seemed to magically turn into a dirt bike when he went off-road.

Sent from my Lenovo A820 using Thaivisa Connect Thailand mobile app

No Limit George Formby 1935. Some good footage of the 1935 TT Features the Rowell Brothers as well as some lovely vintage machines and shots of the isle of Man.

Cool- some good suggestions (except from ll, who's fired;)).

Breaking Bad!

This very appropriate to Thailand

and a lesson for us old guys from 2 Canadians

Why not just get on the bike and ride? That way you don't need any movies.

Well there is still a curfew in many Provinces isn't there? ;)

RSD not sure which browser you use but,

Firefox has a good add-on called Download Helper

I think they also do Chrome? Or might be another brand etc.

Anyway it is very fast since limited only by your connection

since some vids like this Britten one is on youtube

you can snatch it.

Also choice of quality, format etc & converts to various formats

.flv , .mp4 etc if you want

The Great Outdoors is a pretty good watch for those with an interest in motocross.

^^

Normally I get up to 2MB/s for torrent downloads (which would take about 5 minutes for this documentary), but with only one seeder it averaged something like 12kb/s- it was the lack of seeds, and there's no way of speeding that up. I'm going to seed it for a while which will help the next guy who wants it. It was no big deal- I just let it run overnight.;)

I've added The Doctor...', Mondo Enduro, Why We Ride, Isle of Man: A Dangerous Addiction, and the Britten documentary so far. I might add a couple of the movie suggestions (though I already had Electraglide In Blue- I forgot about that one).

Going to watch "Riding America's Wild West" tonight. From the short preview I took, it has some great scenery and might be worth putting on your list.
