Larz2013 Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Utterly pissed off. After 10 emails not replied to, the case officer replied today saying he didnt have Thai police certificate. Which he did have, because he asked for character recerences in regards to it. Utter idiot! He obvs forgot about our application and wanted to put tge blame back on us. After we resent it today, he notified us that the application has now been placed into the hands of Visa Applicant Character Consideration Unit . VACCU, that deal with immigration security, ASIO etc. We are looking at another 3 months to 2 years.
Gopro Posted May 29, 2015 Author Posted May 29, 2015 That's a bummer Larz - Where is your CO? Aust or Bangkok?

honeysea Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 My partner was told today that they are ready to finalize her PMV Subclass 300, she just needs to leave Aust for this to happen. She applied at VFS 28th Sept 2014 so that's just under 10 months wait. Good luck to those still waiting 1
HRKHAMYAI Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 My wife applied late August last year,. So we only had 1 contact from the Embassy in Jan. this year, still waiting, It should be our turn soon.
honeysea Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 You would think so...seems strange you've not heard anything. Did medical and police checks go ok? Did you apply for 300 or 309? What did they want in January?
HRKHAMYAI Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Yes, We sent police report with the application ,Medical done soon after...ALL OK, In Jan we had to supply a couple of certified copies of original papers. All good, Since then no word from them. Should we ask for a progress report Or wait a little longer? OUR APPLICATION WAS FORM 309.
honeysea Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Hi HRK.... You could email immigation and ask for an update and ask if there are any more documents required. You will probably get the standard email back but it may prompt them.....otherwise you just wait. Email [email protected] Good luck

Larz2013 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 Larz any update to your application? Hey Gopro! Ours has been the biggest shit fight, all because of a tiny police record from when he was 14yo!! Itll be 17 months nov 5th. Looks like the decision is coming soon. They took too long, so the pol check from thai lapsed so we had to get him another one- which is a shit fight in itself! He came on a TV, so that was good. Im usually in Thai alot but have been in Aus for 7 months due to Nursing work! Bloody painful.
Gopro Posted October 29, 2015 Author Posted October 29, 2015 Jeez, that's a long wait. Here's hoping soon hey.
