Some people are unable to achieve this and have to keep working to a late age and frequently die in the workplace.

Who on earth wants a balance in their life?

And who can accumulate money - apart from ex-wives. They seem to have accummulated a lot of mine.

For me the balance between work and leisure means that I (sometimes) take Sunday off.

And next weekend I will be in Philippines with my current girl-friend (soon to be wife) and our baby daughter. So I keep working for them (or so I tell everyone).

I have also had many people die on the various construction sites I have worked on. Not necesarily work-accident related. Traffic accidents - maybe thirty over the past thirty five years. Ill health - maybe a dozen in the same period. Work-related - only a couple.

You seldom know when the old boy will come to collect you, so I happily keep myself occupied with building bigger and bigger energy producing projects. Better than sitting at home picking my nose.
