You can start here but am sure there are many others available with a Google search:

ToHome.com

I'll second the Tohome.com recommendation. I've purchased books and CDs from them a number of times. Prompt replies and excellent service. Best bet is to select a number of models/brands you are interested in and ask them if they are available in pre-paid. They may all be, but I am not sure about this.

Pre-paid Mobile phone Prices in Thailand will run from about B4000 to about B20000. What you need to look for is 1-2-Call or Dprompt or Orange.

Cards for pre-paid service are sold in units of B200, B300, B500 (there might be others)

thank you for all the good tips

  • 2 weeks later...

tohome.com looks like web order only. is there a good place in BKK to browse the phones and get as good a deal as the net?

thanks steve

All the shopping malls have a number of shops selling mobile phones. The prices are roughly equivalent to those on the web

Central Complex, Silom Road

Fortune Town - Rachadapisaek Road

Seacon Square

etc., etc.....

Prices start at 2000 baht for a new Philips Fisio

Not the best machine on the market but the cheapest
