Campaign launched to make Koh Tao smoke-free

Featured Replies

Maybe they can ban smoke emmitting buses and pick ups which REALLY cause cancer - more particles in 1 minute than a smoker emits in a lifetime. Btw very odd way of increasing tourism to ban 20%+ of your potential clientel.

Not many of those on KT but I get your point.

yeah, but not scam or rape or murder free

Return Koh Tao to its proper status as a national park and remove all the people and structures from it. Then it will smoke free.

Must be a typo. I think they must have meant corruption-free or murder-free. Anything shy of that isn't likely to help much.

One wonders about Thais. They are not idea's people are they. Retardation is rife in Thailand and this is an example of how Thais have no idea what the point is.

Murder Free Koh Tao would be as someone mentioned a better campaign but you know this is what I call the Thai habit of adding insult to injury in the form of insulting your intelligence but to not see that you need to very much underestimate the intelligence of the other party being us. They have no idea were functioning on another level outside the world of a holiday ie inventing things and building things and working as police and military people and we do it all allot better than them so our evaluation of them is like a professional looking at a savage trying to mimic a real society.

Nice try but that silly campaign will only cause foreigners to be confused at what kind of confusing little amateur world Thais live in. Noddyland where the silly people live.

As long as they don't make the island a sa-moke free zone , I think the tourists will be just fine....

Shameful!! "Come here , Ko Tao is smoke free." Who gives a <deleted>!

If its such a diving mecca and beautiful Nation Park make all bars close at 11pm so everybody can enjoy a drink before bed and be refreshed for the next day of diving.

Fat chance!!
