The famous party island gets some new toys to amuse adults during the day.

Koh Phangan: Until recently, crowds have flocked from all over the world to experience .Koh Phangan’s famous parties, all of which took place after dark. Now a new groundbreaking waterpark has opened to provide daytime entertainment for those looking to do more than just laze on the beach until sunset.

Slip ‘N Fly held its grand opening party on November 25th, 2014, and welcomed a crowd of over 650 people to try out its two 40 meter long slides which toss participants into a 700,000 litre pool the largest on Koh Phangan.

The slides, the first ever of their kind in Thailand, feature ramps at the end one smaller than the other to suit those with varying desires of adventure. Sliders can fly as high as eight meters in the air before splashing back down into the strategically positioned “deep zone,” which measures nearly four meters in depth. Another tamer slide twists and turns at less of an incline, making it great for body boards and those not quite ready to take the big leap.

Several lifeguards are on duty at all times to ensure maximum safety, while international DJs take turns spinning beats all day long to get everyone into the party mood. Two fully stocked bars serve up drinks, including premium cocktails, and food outlets dish out delicious international and Thai snacks for swimmers in need of some fuel.

Dancers, musicians, and other forms of unique entertainment are also sprinkled about the park in the spirit of a party atmosphere. Those who need some shelter from the sun can take advantage of the park’s 17 salas, positioned at ideal vantage points so that observers can catch all the action.
Slip ‘N Fly will hold eight parties in December 2014 and January 2015 Koh Phangan’s busiest months including Christmas and New Years’ Eve parties.

From February onwards, there will be five parties a month, with one family day for the little ones to get in some slide action for themselves. Ticket prices will range between 700 1,000 baht per party. Limited tickets are available for each party, so those wishing to attend
are advised to book online well ahead of time at www.SlipNFlyParty.com.
