Digital TV

Featured Replies

Hi.

I am looking to get a new TV When I return to Phan later this month. In the past I had seen a smart TV at home pro. Can anyone tell me if they have Digital TV what the signal is like and what offers

on channels there are. I am not sure weather to get a smart TV or just a normal TV and set top box. Any advice would be great.

Thanks.

I would be be interested to know too as a can hardly get anything on my current box

I thought they were supposed to be handing out free boxes but not as yet where i am

So im sort of in limbo waiting to see what happens. I think you can get youtube etc on smart tvs

Sorry i cant help you but i to am interested to know more about this

Cheers

It will have a built in DVB-T2 tuner so no need for a set top box.
I would go for an unsmart TV with no DVB-T2 tuner as they are now cheaper and you can pick and choose
to add your own smart bit for example with a set top box for Terestrial TV, an android media player for IPTV ( XBMC) and aDVD/Blueray player
having the features in seperate "boxes" safeguards you in event of failure of one component or redundency /change of standards.

Cheers for the info
