CHIANG MAI: -- FIVE VIETNAMESE nationals were arrested in Chiang Mai's Muang district for shoplifting brand-name clothes and bags worth hundreds of thousand of bath by stuffing the stolen items into their foil-lining bags to avoid setting the barcode theft-preventing alarm off, police announced Monday.

The three females and two males aged 24-39 were presented along with the 64 stolen items and two foil-lining bags. The suspects reportedly confessed to the crime in three occasions at two shopping malls, said provincial police Pol Maj Gen Montri Sambunnanont.

What with the import workers from Myanmar and now from Vietnam there wont be much work left for Thai men (those who want to work that is) other than motorbike taxi and tuk tuk drivers and security guards.

My god, can they not hire an editor? ...
