Another poster said the same thing, looks exactly like Sihku, but for sure it is Korat. I don't remember the name of the street but if those two samlors were to continue straight ahead for another 20 meters they would be at the back of the Lady Mo statue.

Wow, what a difference compared to now. Those pics look similar to Cambodia, Laos or Vietnam do nowadays; narrow roads, lots of sand on the shoulders, even more chaotic traffic than today, more bicycle cyclos. I guess those countries in 30-40 years will only look like Thailand does now.
