Thai authorities have arrested Para Chusri in connection with the murder of a 33-year old woman in Chiang Mai. The 52-year old lives in the Chon Buri’s Bang Lamung district and is said to have been in a drug-fueled rage when the murder took place.

Police arrested the man on Thursday during a raid in Chang Mai. According to initial reports, police found a mobile phone that belonged to the victim during the raid as well as the clothes that Mr. Para wore. Police were tipped off by the CCTV images that were uncovered during the murder investigation.

Samorn Khlangdet was found dead on the bathroom floor of a hotel room. A maid found her body on April 14th and autopsy reports show that the woman suffered from bruises on her face and internal injuries. Rectum and vaginal bleeding are believed to be the woman’s cause of death. A glass bottle was found in the woman’s abdomen during the autopsy.

Mr. Para states that he and the woman went back to the hotel room and took Valium, which caused the two to lose control. Mr. Para states that he left the hotel room before the woman had died and was unaware of her death until reports were released.

Police believe that the man may have more victims after he stated he had done similar things to other women that have not died. Similar complaints have been filed in Chon Buri and Bangkok.

"A glass bottle was found in the woman's abdomen'???? What the hell??? Did he shove it up her ass?? Wow, this guy needs to be seriously locked up and a full history of his past travels investigated. He seems to be a serial nut job and I bet this is not the only case that has similar circumstance evidence. Crazy!!

This crime was hard to read about. RIP to the victim and I hope the family and friends of the victim will find peace. It was good police work to find this animal as he belongs in a cage, but I fear he will not live long in prison. It is only a matter of who in prison will want to make a name for themselves by ending this animals life, or it is possible a family member or friend of the victim is already in prison waiting for a chance to be near him. I would not condone any more killing, but the reality of the stuation is clear.
