Any online sites for buying tools in Thailand

Most of the hardware stores in the country have lots of the same ol stuff, and there are things that are hard to find everywhere.

For example I have yet to see an anvil for sale. Anvils are great to have around, but can't find one anywhere. Anyhow I like Lazada and invadeit. What is there for tools?

It depends on the tool that you want. I bought a heavy duty Irwin all purpose vice on line which has a small anvil.

For tools I rely on Ruanfsangthai in buriram. They don't have an online catalog but if you contact them and tell them what you want, they will tell you what they have or whether they can get exacly what you want. They have very competitive prices , will ship EMS and I pay with direct bank transfer. PM me and I will send you an English speaking contact. They are alsdo an authorized repair center for Makita and Dewalt tools and Mitsubishi water pumps.

They don't handle irwin tools but if you are interedted in a heavy duty all in one vice, or just a mechanics vice, PM me and I will send you a contact.

I am up in Chiang Rai.

Wayned, I will PM you later, I am still holding out for online shopping or a closer store. I am not sure how ordering tools by phone would go. I would miss the browsing.

Late, but nonetheless:

Bookmarked.

Well, the Bosch hammer drill with 18 Volt rechargeable battery for 22000 Baht would really make an impression on the villagers biggrin.png

On occasion, I torture myself and do comparison shopping at Walmart. Oh how I would love to see Walmart here.

Name brand power tools such as Makita, Maktec, DeWALT, Hitachi, Bosch, Stanley, Metabo, Milwaukee are easy to find on line and in Thailand hardware shops that see value in selling and repairing dependable brands. I check lazada and other on line sellers before I buy many electronic items in Buriram. I was seeing a new septic tank for our little house building project and I noticed a Bosch Table saw with portable stand being prepared for delivery. Mr Pichai told me his local hardware store had sold this Bosch Table Saw to a customer on Koh Samui.  I am able to speak English with Miss Jaew at this Buriram Builders Merchants store.

I don't think that the picture is a tool.  But I must say it can really be full of s**t!

I noticed 18 volt Milwaukee cordless tools with  5.0 batteries in Buriram today. The locally owned hardware store also stocked genuine Milwaukee hand tools which I had never seen in Thailand. I was told it is easy to send any Milwaukee Tool to any province in Thailand from Buriram. A written warranty from an established physical store seems important to me when buying name brand hand tools and name brand power tools in Thailand.
