BANGKOK:-- Thaivisa.com is delighted to announce the launch of a new daily video news show, with the first bulletin due to air on October 1st, 2015.

The weekday show will be filmed from our new state of the art studios in Bangkok and will consist of the most important and interesting news from throughout Thailand.

Through Thaivisa's new agreement with Euronews, we will also be able to bring you the latest world news stories in our exclusive daily news bulletin.

All the latest news from Thailand and around the world crammed into a punchy 6 minutes to ensure our valued consumers receive an enhanced news service from the most viewed English language media platform in Thailand – Thaivisa.

The show is an integral part of Choice Group Asia’s plans to develop and enhance the Thaivisa proposition in order to deliver a first class, modern experience for all Thaivisa’s loyal consumers.

“Thaivisa is all about delivering timely, relevant information for expats living in Thailand and indeed those who live outside of Thailand but who have a strong interest in the area. With the digital era moving quickly into video, we felt this was an essential new product enhancement to ensure a better consumer experience” stated Dan Cheeseman, Managing Director Choice Group Asia.

Wow! Now we will get video reports about the jet ski scams, double pricing, is "farang" a racist word, Thai universities failing at the world rankings gems :)

Will there be a large green pop-up that blocks the whole screen unless we subscribe?

It will be thaivisas selective news missing touchy stories such as Koh Tao or anything to real on the political mess .

Can I suggest one of the early reports should be on the atrociously appalling short dresses and tight shirts that some Thai university female students are prone to wearing.

I am hoping that at least a segment of the show is comedy, a lot of good material in Thai news.

Can we assume it will be as informative as all the other Thai news media is here ? coffee1.gif

Hope you have some good-looking young newsreaders,

Steady on, it probably cost that old fossil a fortune to get his hair looking that distinguished!

i get that nasty popup even though am already subscribed. So go figure, TV needs some serious fixing or maybe they just like to spam everybody.

Real news would be if something media-related here didnt always involve the same tired people who have been doing the rounds for years.

WOW, how rude are you! Why don't you find out who you are disrespecting. This is one of the finest men on earth.

with commercial breaks every minute, right ? same as the 10 ads by page overhere

EXACTLY!!!!

Great News ; the Nation/Army approved news with helpful investment suggestions for Ex-Pats ...

Lets hope it offers something more than what usually comes out of this region in regard to 'news'. God help us if its another insipid Channel news Asia type program....magazine style, with 'safe' stories that pander to a mentally vacuous population that is completely unaware of the size of the filter that is being used by those in power to paint a rosy view of their world.......nothing to see here, move along. And of course, the inevitable feelgood story at the end of each bulletin......the panda that has just given birth to cute little cubs at some zoo in China

God help all those with critical thinking skills....

Are you gonna interview selective Thaivisa members, ???

Hope they learn from Fox News and hire some bombshells! wub.png

Based on the opening post looks like they have hired Walter Cronkite's slightly younger brother.

Good Idea , and Good Luck

HGMA

I certainly will watch...

...unless the airing time coincides with 'Teletubbies' which I am devoted to and watch religiously

PS Can anyone confirm that the purple one is gay? I keep hearing these awful rumors...

I quite like the FM 103 news broadcast. Very informative and very well produced. Hopefully, this will be along the same lines. It'd be nice to have an English language news show here.

Best of luck!
