In which parts of the island are most female tourists staying?

Featured Replies

Where are most female tourists and locals also staying, in which parts of the island or on which beach? Patong? Or Rawai as well? In Phuket town there's almost no one.blink.png

My question is about the crowded places where there're many females rather than massage and boom-boom. Is it only in Patong?

The cosmetics or lingerie sections in any big mall?

If you are looking for females that are not in the play-for-pay scene, then you are already at the best place.

You need to check out the bars and night-clubs in the Old Town.

Yes, central Phuket Town.

Quite a few of them and generally always packed with locals with a splattering of westerners.

At the first I misread that as "they're already in the best place", meaning they're busy with other guys already.

I've checked out some bars. I haven't seen many of the girls. And the bars look like somewhat expensive restaurant rather than the places where you can pick up a girl. No alone girls.. Which bars and night clubs? In the old town there're no night clubs at all, are there? Ah, there're a few, I remember from a few months when I did that, but only locals hang out there and they don't speak english and most of them are with their guys.

Have you done that or is that your assumption that girls there can be picked up by a foreigner? Again, they almost don't speak english.. They even won't reply you if you start talking to them.

Are you a backpacker? Looking for real love? In Phuket Town?

Plenty of backpackers/teachers/hippies at Timberhut and Cue Bar in Town!

i should advice any foreign woman to stay away from phuket, in fact the whole country, as it can be very, but very dangerous for a lady( the beating of 68 yo woman in hua hin, murder of Hannah and David in koh tao etc etc)

1. Low season and I personally see most Thai weekend tourists and some Chinese and Japanese tourist, mostly males.

2. Many foreign younger female / male teachers (following a friend of me who are teacher) have wandered of to other places.

3. Better options in Spain and Greece this time of year.

Phuket is safe also for western women. Only use little bit common sense.

Was last year back in europa and felt much more unsafe in vienna and frankfurt.

So relax and enjoy the sun on phuket.

when you read that Vienna and Frankfurt are unsafe, you understand its complete absolute crap.

Austria and Germany are ranked among the most safest country for tourists, in others hand thailand is ranked as one of the most unsafe tourists destination.

On this forum, we have plethora of murder, rape, violent assault on foreign women... do i need to remember you all of them?

And yes, I work in the tourism industry.

At least you are honest, lets hope you dont get bankruptwhistling.gif

well, when you have a 68 yo grandmother kicked in the head in hua hin, a 20 yo laotian girl lynched by a mob, a young german girl punched in the face in ayuthaya, a british girl Hannah and his friend David, raped and murdered in koh tao, a young swedish girl got her throat slashed in phuket, a 60 yo australian woman stabbed in the heart in phuket, 2 russians girls shot dead in jomtiem, 2 beheaded body in koh larn, and plethora of more murder and more rape.... more more more more more more more more more morecase

you can hardly say its safe..... In Vienna you dont have this carnage.

Oh wait i just remember, you just say you work in the tourism industry. So you are the one who talk nonsense.... to protect the tourism dollars.

The official survey ranked this country as one of the most unsafe tourists destination. /period.

Never worked here in tourism and it's good to read TV and other news sources.

But for me more importent is personal experience. I want to see it with my own eyes. And what i saw in Frankfurt and Vienna last year in october, i never saw in all my 25 years here.

Ongoing rap in broad daylight in town.

Harassment from men on single women in the city, only to name a bit. Lost of internal security in this cities!

This all reminds me of the 80's in New Jersey where women wear men cloth after dark when they go out and have men dolls as show passenger next in the car.

Phuket and Thailand are sure not perfect but save for foreign tourists.
