BANGKOK — A month after a teacher at an elite Bangkok boys school was arrested on suspicion of posting photos and videos online described as the sexual abuse of young schoolboys, the police investigation seems to have stalled out.

Police have yet to bring Suankularb School science teacher Saroj Meepai, currently free on bail, to court, and the school said a disciplinary review by education officials is unfinished, while the initial outcry in the media and online communities has subsided.

Whatever happened to the blurring of faces until one is proved guilty--if this guy didn't do anything wrong, the fact that he is gay may well be held against him---in his home area & for future work........................

This guy has been removed from one school in the past for fiddling with 10 kids (that were brave enough to come forward ) those parents were encouraged to keep quiet and he was transferred to another school. In this case he admits himself that the video is of him and young boys. We will never know if he was touching up the boys at suangularb, because they just want this news to go away. Any victims there will have been told to keep well and truly quiet as is the custom for sexual abuse in thai schools.

Don't pull the "I might be discriminated against because I'm gay card " the world has been bending over backwards to support them.

Thai men....all pride, no shame! Yet if you appear to "shame" someone they'll kill you! It's a bit like the way that they poison dogs that frighten them, not because the dog is wild or vicious but because the dog made the man lose "face" to himself and so had to die......badly!

Investigations have found the person of interest is Thai , he is a teacher , he admits to having an attraction to young boys, admits he has had sex with school boys, in other words an Pedophile and we have an investigation that has gone inert , wonder why.......................................... .

Well the hot air seems to have gone out of the investigation if that explains anything.

All I remember him admitting to was having pornographic pics with him and above aged men dressed in school uniforms, which, though pretty twisted, is in my understanding not illegal. Otherwise all those school girl bars in Cowboy and Pattaya would be closed down, hahah.

Please show me an article where he was proven to or admitted to doing inappropriate things with the students. I might have missed that report, and cannot find any account of him admitting to that or of him being proven of doing that. There were those students that came forward saying he was planning to have sex with a student and showed a chat with a bunch of things blacked out. But they never came forward with anything more than that, afaik.

I'm not saying he didn't do those things, but it seems to me lots of guys on this board have overactive imaginations and have created a reality that I don't think existed.

Now I know why a few board members are here. No one in their right mind can support or justify the sexual abuse of children, especially in a case where there is hard evidence, unless they themselves are sticking up for their own kind.

we have all the proof: dozens of pictures, videos and victims. Now we just need a real police to investigate this case...
