BANGKOK, 17 September 2016 (NNT) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha will attend the 71st United Nations General Assembly in New York to present the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as an option for sustainable development.

In a weekly TV broadcast program, the premier said he will attend the 71st United Nations General Assembly on 18-25 September 2016 along with about 190 leaders from other countries.

He said the assembly will discuss the sustainable development with Thailand presenting His Majesty the King’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as another option for sustainable development. The philosophy had received great feedback from other countries in a G77 meeting with many countries requesting to study its practicality as demonstrated at six Royal Development Study Centers in Thailand.

In addition, the premier said Thailand will as well express its potential roles in global community during other international meetings such as the Leaders' Summit on Refugees, the Antimicrobial Resistance Summit, and the Ministerial Meeting of G77 Countries.

He added he will report the outcome of the assembly to the general public for better understanding and cooperation after he has returned to Bangkok.

Now look at that photo, then recall Ban Ki Moon execrating world leaders for ruling over and not listening to their people. Now you see him shaking hands with the head of a military junta who has overseen lengthy jail sentences for dissent and even insulting a dog. Quite frankly it makes me want to <deleted>puke.
