Anyone ever ridden from Petchabun to Tha Li? What is the road like? I was thinking about a visa run there.

I've done it in a car, road conditions are ok however very slow going over the mountains, loads of slow switch backs.
I went to Chiang Khan about 3 weeks ago so recent enough.
Once over the mountains it's fine, from Phetchabun to the mountains it's fine.
You going on motorbike? Let me know how it goes.

what sort of bike you going on, I've considered it before as well but never got round to it. Perfect time of year for it weather wise.
