MAE HONG SON — Former Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra voiced her displeasure Tuesday for allegedly being followed by plainclothes police while on vacation.

Yingluck made her aversion public through her official Facebook page for allegedly having been followed all day by plainclothes policemen while on vacation with her family in Pai district, Mae Hong Son province.

Was a different song when she had her entourage for shopping on overseas trips...

She should wai and say thank you that at least the police is still interested in her if nobody else is.

She is angry because she could not sneak over the border in to Myanmar...

Well, well, it sucks to be a puppet of the opposition, doesn't it, lady???

She only likes to be followed when she is having a photo-op event, like when she sits on a tractor for the first time in her life.

How North Korean of the democracy-loving authorities safe-guarding Thailand.

No rent a crowd giving flowers and miss bad luck not giving free rice,

shame , opportunity  lost

Where's the photos of these plain clothes policemen ? if true, maybe they

thought she was making a break for Burma.

Why would the Junta try to prevent her to flee abroad? It would be a dream option for them. They would get rid of her for a long time, which is exactly what they have been trying to do for some time now.

Because she has not repaid the money yet,once/when/if she pays she will

be free to leave after serving her prison term, have you heard of sarcasm ?

I still think they would rather see her flee abroad and have an extra bogeyman, rather than a martyr (I know, this word is quite out of proportion, but I don't currently have another one at hand).

When is the next Olympics ?, maybe they will give her a pass

like they did for her brother.

The junta would love her to flee oversaes snd each day she remains in Thailand gets right up their noses.

They desperately need another" fugitive" tag to justify the juntas actions and failure to achieve nothing in slmost 4 years.

The roadmap to nowhere is just a fantasy in their dreams.

On the contrary: she is of interest to tens of millions. The fact that they have no voice is another, regrettable matter.

post number 3, would you like to put money on that .she is loved by millions not by you maybe but you dont count, why do you think this unelected lot keep putting the elections back , they are running scared and they know it

Most people would agree she is by some distance the most popular politician in the country. That is why she is so feared.Still the grubby third world view of those who send heavies to trail her is rather revealing.

It's almost impossible to overstate the desire of the elite to crush Shinawatra's influence. They screwed it up first time round and are determined not to make the same mistake again.

Shinawatra will pass into distant memory but the minority who control Thailand won't have addressed the underlying problem. That will remain outstanding to be dealt by rational beings prepared to compromise. So far no sign of them.

Exactly.  She is out on Bt 30 million bail.  Police and the army have every right to follow her movements.  She has no privacy rights when she is on bail.

Nice to see the junta has it's priorities sorted. Disappointing to see so many on here similarly lose all perspective.

....assuming that the multitude ever had any in the first place.

she can come live with me. we will give the cops the slip.

But I do have to say she is looking a bit like a 20 year old bar girl who has been working for a year on Soi 6 in Pattaya.
