Cheap guesthouse near Phuket airport

Featured Replies

I have to go to Penang from Chiang Mai for my non O visa and my flight stops in Phuket at midnight so I will be needing a room to top sleep for a few hours. It's not a vacation for me so the cheaper the better. Anything close and cheap?

Give Simon43 a shout; believe he used to have a guesthouse at Nai Yang Beach.

Think he said one was just taken back by the bank from one of his ex-wife :)

Hubb Hostel is near the airport, probably the cheapest option if you're alone.

I used to have a guesthouse at the airport, but I left Phuket last year.

My ex #2 still has a hotel at the airport, but I seriously wouldn't recommend staying there :shock1:

But my ex #3 runs a nice and clean little hotel within walking distance of the airport.  Since I have no personal interest in that business I hope it is OK with the mods if I mention the name - Phuket Airport Overnight Hotel.  You can book on booking.com and pay when you check in - it usually gets fully booked up every night, so you need to book ahead.

Nampa89, don't try texting me - I'm in Myanmar :)

Thanks, I met one of your Xs emoji16.png

Since you used emoji16.png and not :shock1:, I assume it was my sensible 3rd ex, not the bat-sh*t crazy 2nd ex :)
