I have the same issue.

Charlie, no need to yell !

Yell?

I use FF and Chrome and don't have the issue.

Only what I observe:

although Thaivisa does not use encrypted data (not a https site) still FF and Chrome show an exclamation mark and underlying warning about "unsecure" connection.

No idea why. Is it standard now?

If I try to force https on the address line I end up with error msgs,

I use Chrome and IE....no problems in connecting to ThaiVisa where I get to view ads of men in tee-shirts and headphones.

Yep, that was why i started the topic yesterday. No sooner than I had uploaded the image (with IE) I could connect again with chrome. Same message as the OP got.

There are some browser changes coming soon which will list all non TLS websites as insecure.

Hardly an issue for a public forum but there will be all sorts of warnings in the (possibly very near) future on some of the main browsers.

They're attempting to encourage all websites to swap over to TLS, easy for a small blog on a single server but for a larger multi server site behind a load balancer, etc it's going to be a pain in the ass to do it.

According to the first website below it's already in affect as of Jan 17 if using Chrome 56.XXXX which I am.  Also listed another website talking about the pending change.    Maybe it just focused towards those websites which "require" a logon.   If already in affect I haven't noticed any change in my browsing, warnings, etc.

meatboy, I suspect that your computer got some malware which hijacks your browser. You can read about this here:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/safety/pc-security/browser-hijacking.aspx

Sent from my Nexus 5X using Thaivisa Connect mobile app

thanks M i know that hao 123 is a brouser highjacker but its been ok.for the past 2yrs.so i can live with that, but this other that keeps shutting down is awfull.as now i am logged in through hao123.and its a big difference.

thanks again meatboy.
