Did i ask for your opinion or ask for the law ?

Since you insist so politely, it is illegal. And I wish you good luck, if you want to go to Malaysia for a visit.

ive 80 on my doors and rear glass and 60 on the screen, not an issue at night or underground carparks.only time it is a hassle is reversing at night, I have to drop the front windows.

Well, I have nothing like 80% on my side and rear windows, more like 30%, the front windscreen is clear, and I still have to wind down my side windows when I'm looking for a space in an underground car park.

My eyes are fine, don't see the point in making driving any more hazardous than it already is.

As I said I have no issue at all unless reversing.

Why do you think they make very dark film illegal?

Don't know, don't care.

Probably for the same reasons as having bald tyres, safety, but who cares about that. Right?.

My ride gets new tires every 12 months.

You missed the point.

Not really, anything I consider to be dangerous with my ride I rectify.

If I felt my windows were dangerous I would remove the tint, to me they are not so I won't.

Good for you.

Car window tinting films are measured in visible light transmission (VLT) levels, which is measured as percentage. So when you see a window tint being referred to as a percentage, this is the VLT, e.g. our 20% dark smoke film has a VLT of 20%.

So what does the percentage actually mean? In simple terms, the VLT is the percentage of light that the film allows to pass through. So a 5% VLT film is very dark as it only lets though 5% of visible light and a 70% film is very light as it lets through 70%.
