Cat with eight legs brings luck to Chantaburi family - now for the lottery!

CHANTABURI: -- A family in Chantaburi is convinced a lucky cat that emerged stillborn is bringing them luck.

Forget nine lives this cat was born with eight legs and two tails, Thai Rath reported.

Now neighbors are rushing to get all the lottery tickets they can after a relative won a motorcycle in a lucky draw.

Suthida Phonart, 28, said that her aunty who lives nearby in Makham district brought her a pregnant cat that was wailing in pain. They tried to get the litter out but something large was stuck in the cat's uterus.

So they took the distressed pet to the vet's. The vet extricated a dead foetus that had eight legs, two tails and one head. A check was made to ensure there were no more in the litter and it was discovered there were none.

But when they got home it was discovered by aunty Obcheuy, 64, that unbeknown to her the cat had already had two kittens at her house.

This sequence of events had all the neighbors scurrying around convinced of the lucky portents and they have all decided to play

combinations of the 8, 2 and 1 lucky numbers.

The "certainties" of the omen were reinforced by Suthida who said that earlier in the month when the cat was still pregnant she had won a Honda Wave motorcycle in a lucky draw.

Now for the lottery!

In a few weeks, the loan sharks in the area will be doing a roaring trade.

#13,543: a cat born dead with 8 legs and 2 tails is considered lucky

My first procurement from the lottery win would be a Geiger counter...:shock1:

And don't forget to hang a Buddha amulet onto your rear view mirror when overtaking on blind bends.

Was it Suthida or the cat who won the Honda Wave motorcycle?

"a lucky cat that emerged stillborn".....eh? Doesn't sound particularly lucky to me.

I guess they own a shop selling lottery tickets

They should sell the cat hair as a relic and make money because they are not going to get lucky any other way

LOL

Pussy brings good luck to rural family.....where have I heard that before?

So, the story goes. I cat was born almost dead, and people consider that lucky! That must really be some sick individuals!
