BANGKOK: -- Five defendants including the manager and company referee of Nataree massage parlor in Bangkok have been sentenced to long jail terms.

The decisions at the criminal court Wednesday relate to human trafficking charges after raids were made at Nataree in Huay Kwang district in the middle of last year.

Manager Phong-anan "Ball" Khanakhet was given jail time totaling 26 years and fined 30,000 baht while company referee Somprasong Soijit was given 25 years and fined 30,000 baht.

TNA reported that three other defendants were given 17 years each with further fines against PSS Entertainment totaling 1.3 million baht.

All sentences and fines were reduced by half due to admissions of guilt.

No mention was made in the TNA story of the high profile owner or owners of Nataree who fled justice and are believed to still be at large.

Not such a 'happy ending' for the scapegoats in the case.

The fact that the high profile owner (s) are still at large, and have avoided capture, really does surprise me ! ?

It doesnt suprise me in the least.

Im sure they were given ample notice from their mates (or colleagues) to get out of Dodge

Just love stories of convienance, has anyone ever seen the list of Thailands Most Wanted ?

26 years for the manager - wow! What about the real owners identity?

I used to be happy customer for many years of Nataree and the manager / papasan was always delightful.

Some young girls in the back, but nothing outrageous - maybe 18-19y old but never saw anything that looked younger in that place.

It's so obvious that they hand-picked this place for whatever reason. All the other places offer the same services and still operate freely and will continue to do so for many years.

Remind me real quick, who owns Poseidon again..

Maybe the 'high profile owners' ordered the raid to move on to bigger and better things? Just a thought..

Does this mean the manager had his sentence reduced to 13 years or was it reduced to 26 years ?

All too convenient and slick.

Thai justice.

Carry on as you wish as long as you pay and don't get too big for your boots.

Fail to pay or don't tow the line and you get crucified.

Unless you are truly connected.

Nope. I pass by there often and the front door is chained and padlocked.

How other thann friends in high places do these places stay open.  EVERYONE knows that the soapy is a prelude to sex.  The spot that blows my mind is the soapy at patpong it is open and flagrant
