Aussie woman has drink spiked in Thailand

A holiday in the picturesque Thai island of Phi Phi turned sour recently when a woman believed her drink was spiked during a night out with her partner.

 

Aussie woman Anna Johnson was holidaying in Thailand when she says her New Year’s Eve in 2015 was ruined after the incident, which left her unable to control her actions, or even see properly.

 

Ms Johnson, 28 explained that she and her boyfriend were being vigilant, but she believes that the incident happened when she bought one round of drinks while her partner was chatting to a couple they had met.

It has taken her nearly a year and a half to mention it !

Not surprising at all, with so much drugs of every description on that island

readily and cheaply available to anyone spiking someone drink with a ' ruffy '

shouldn't raise an eyebrow ate all.....

it could have happened anywhere in the world.why make a point it happened in Thailand.and a  few years later,like closing the gate after the horse has gone

No it could only happen in Thailand----that's why you will soon get this TIT....only in Thailand & other comments on how bad the whole 65 million Thai people are.....etc  etc

As an Australian "Bogan" (Aus slang for lout etc)  would say either the woman or the people reporting it now are right "Munters"

I get my drink spiked almost everyday here in Thailand, go out 3pm a couple of pints then i wake up at 9am without any recollection of what happened.

Probably it was her partners only way of getting her to shutup. Aussie women, nag nag, nag.

Should have just locked her in the toilet... whoops

Isn't Phi Phi where you go for drugs, get drunk and maybe assaulted in a 24 hour party? God I'm happy in Korat!

At least it wasn't LSD.  That's happened to me~holy god~now that's a shocker
