CityNews – Chiang Mai Provincial Public Health Office have reported that there have been 430 confirmed cases of Hand, Foot and Mouth disease, advising a state of caution among citizens.

 

Currently, 430 cases of the disease have been confirmed, mostly in the Muang Chiang Mai district, San Pa Tong district and Saraphi district.

 

Most patients are aged 5 or under.

That is scary to me; those are in humans. Who knows where they got it from, animals?

I picked it up from my daughter when she was a 5 years old, went to the Doctor, nothing you can do clears up on its own he said.

A bit uncomfortable for a few days, mouth ulcers, itchy feet and hands but cleared up.

Hand Foot and Mouth disease is a fairly mild virus spread by humans (mainly children) - not to be confused with Foot and Mouth disease in cattle.

 

It is NOT passed to humans from animals.
