Dress Code On Flight.
Traveling on an Emirates flight bound for Dubai I was sitting in a window seat and a dark skinned man, maybe Indian, dressed in shorts and a wife beater sat beside me. I asked him to put of a shirt, but he obviously did not speak English, so I got up and said "excuse me" and went to find a flight attendant, she was very pleasant as was I. I then went back to my seat expecting him to be sitting there, but he was gone. I then sat in my seat to be joined by two attractive girls. My question is why was he not stopped from entering the plane and told to cover up? Is there not a dress code on planes? -

I guess I should have added the backstory for those unaware.. He (Greg Rusedski) was Canadian but had British Citizenship through a parent. He moved to the UK while already an adult pro tennis player in Canada and tried to look and sound 'English' - Union flag head coverings, calling everyone 'mate', etc., with a Canadian accent. He was lampooned in the British press (albeit lightly because he was a very good tennis player). He actually became the UK's #1 briefly in a rivalry with British star Tim Henman (who the Wimbledon and British HiSo crowd (Sloanies) really adored). Henman eventually overshadowed Rusedski and then went on to greater things, while the latter faded. They're both around the same age and are now both 'former' British tennis number-ones. -
