Hi, took the plastic off this morning with a view to giving the trusty Honda a much needed clean and noticed a tiny amount of oil in the belly pan.

On closer inspection it seems to have come from a very small hole in the engine casing just to the rear and below the oil filter casing.

I'm assuming it's some kind of breather but as no hose is attached was wondering and it is a very small hole, about 5mm.

Does anyone actually know what it is for sure?

The breather tube has been pulled out. That's where it's connected.

The leak is from the water pump shaft seal, the weep hole is for both coolant and oil (meaning it can leak either, oil or coolant depending on which seal is leaking)...have a read of this thread on TT
