Please see reply on the other thread...... the exchange rate is the "Visa Exchange Rate" i.e. the rate of the day....... in my experience this is usually close to the TT rates you will see in Thailand.

This will depend on the issuing bank.

With my German CC it would be 1.75%.

Under specific terms/conditions they reimburse that for me.

As above: rate depends on card issuing organization.

Is it VISA?

Is it Mastercard?

I don't know about GSB but Kasikorn offers a "virtual" debit card bound to my account.

It's nothing but a set of CC like data that can be used for online purposes.

I use it often for online payments.

Depends on your card, but expect at least 2.75%.

Which UK bank card is it? No one in the UK who could pay for you? Then you can do a UK to UK transfer to their bank account. How much is the ticket? Can't imagine that BA offers the best price.

for a Ba flight one way bkk/lhr ba are showing 23,900 baht skyscanner are showing the same flight at £515 a quick conversion on google shows that at 22,700 baht, pay with a uk card no conversion fees required. money saved

edit Thai air are cheaper at £495
