A woman went onto a popular page to complain that she cannot get proper compensation after she returned from work to find her car seriously damaged.

Resin and debris from branches that appeared to have caught fire in wires rained down damaging her car.

The incident happened at a housing estate in Sri Nakharin where the lady was working.

The situation has caused a war of words with the electrical authorities and the housing estate blaming each other for the problem.

Neither is prepared to accept responsibility bar paying for a t-cut solution.

Natthakarn Chumphinit's tale of woe was shared to the Mem Pho Dam page.

All sides are set to meet to come to a resolution.

First point of call, if insured, would be to put it in the insurers hands, if not insured, commence legal proceedings and watch them swing into action, if insured and the insurer doesn't want to know about it, make sure they are included in the law suit.

Well it should be the person who owns the tree for not maintaining the clearance from the wires - But TIT

Nobody owns anything here when talking about legal responsibilities, but in case of compensation to ask they all become owner and demand a slice of the pie.

It can happen if you park under some trees too.

If it was the result of an electrical fire in the cables overhead surely the electrical company would be responsible, but if the wires are within a housing estate,  and downstream of the meters, responsibility would lie elsewhere.

If she has Class 1 insurance, they should cover it, as they might for vandalism.

Are you suggesting that a Lady who has parked here while at work, someone with a 100% Thai Name in actual fact has probably spent the majority of her life overseas and does not fully comprehend as well as you do how the 'Thai system' of avoiding responsibility works ?..

... thats a bit of a stretch even for ThaiVisa wouldn't you agree ?...

She is simply pi$$3d off that her car has been damaged and rightly so, its quite natural anyone to seek some form of accountability.
