papa al
The YNSX e-starting has been hesitant lately. Took it in last week but mech just charged the battery, which solved nothing as the battery is good. Tried again today. Mech disassembled & cleaned starter. Bingo.

Using benzine not gasohol too. b. ran like a raped ape once she fired. ///////////// Consider using Shell Advance Ultra oil in your Raider. Best oil available in LOS. Synthesised from natural gas. Kwasaki
Bringing back to life my 25 year old Blade 900RR and to get to test ride today so scary forgot what a beast these first CBR900's were, 15 years since my last ride on my own one. Made me remember the CBR1000's I rode in Pattaya in 2008 which was gutless compared to this 900. Lots still to do yet though.

Isaanbiker
1. A seal for the front bearing from a local store... 2. Put some grease on the fork for the starter mechanism. 3. Got my CDI checked and resoldered a few points.
Isaanbiker
I finally found the culprit in form of an ignition coil that worked well when cold, but went crazy when hot.

Very nice that you rolling already and in the final stages of the retrofit full steam ahead cant wait for coming reports Thanks yeah found useful help from Thaiguzz and some of the guys here and got some good electrical replacement parts from UK. Pretty grime in Thailand trying to get decent stuff some things are OK and have bought some stuff here too. Taking DLT Thursday pension money day ???? to get all sorted, then I can get down to renewing essentials such as a complete new wiring harness & new connectors. Clutch is noisy so will replace the 2 bearings. New tyres are needed but expected that ouch. The carbs are a bit sticky when running the engine but the bike fired up anyway to my surprise so they will need a good clean as well as the kits for new gaskets and seals. The rest will be continuing saga of deep pockets and renewing, front brake hoses, rubbers on foot pegs, new handles & general stuff maintaining & making mia noi very pretty again. ????

Popular Post Kwasaki
Took bike on the truck to DLT for check, turned ignition on wouldn't start hit ignition switch with the handy screwdriver and hey-presto then the guy said mai pen rai OK, turned lights on showed all work, mai pen rai again, he only wanted engine number and vin number. The bike was dumped for 6.1/2 years, told by some on here cannot get re-registered it's been scrapped, what a load of rubbish people post on here. Today test as such was OK, it's insured, the book has been kept to change name & address, also for new Sukhothai number plate will get in 3 days, then we pay back road tax 7 years. ???? Got bike home and ignition switch totally knackered will not start. ???? 5

Castrol power 1 @ at 130 bht for .800 litre is good unless you wanna go racing but it's still good for that too. ????
