Man shoots wife, then kills himself in front of their children in Nonthaburi

 

 

A man estranged from his wife shot her and then himself in front of their children outside their school in Nonthaburi province on Monday morning. The mother had reportedly refused to go back to him.

 

Pissanu Sangkaew, 38, died at the scene from a gunshot wound to the head while the mother, Sukancha Charndej, 32, suffered serious two gunshot injuries in the abdomen. She was rushed to a nearby hospital where she remains in a serious but stable condition.

 

The two terrified children, aged six and nine, are now under the care of the teachers of Nakhonnon Wittaya school.

 

Pol Colonel Suwat Sanehha, of Nonthaburi police station, said the incident took place at about 8am.

 

Witnesses said Sukancha had just delivered her children to the school gates when Pissanu, from whom she had been separated for a while, approached her, reportedly trying to reconcile with her. 

 

She refused and he shot her twice before turning the gun on himself, Suwat said.

Thailand, Land of Shootings. Everyone seems to be able to get a gun for any and all occasions. In fact, there seems to be an epidemic of gun killings, mostly of the domestic kind. I feel very sorry for the kids who saw their father shoot their mother and then off himself. At least he got the last shot right. 

Life carries on (as in most kids are raised by the Grand parents) , unfortunate for the kids to have no loving mother as their father didn't worry

Crass, dumb post. 

This is a Thai forum for Thai stories.  If you honestly think that this is the norm in the UK, or even the USA, then you're on drugs, cloud cuckoo land or just trying to warm up your trolling muscles after the Christmas break.

Don't you think that it's kind of telling that you had to search back more than five years to try (and fail) to draw a parallel with the UK.  Here you need only to go back one or two days at most.

As for the Utah story; it's the USA, enough said!

Another brain dead oxygen thief dispatched in a timely but terribly twisted way.  Some may say he had a 'reason' for his actions BUT that cannot be an excuse for what he did!

 

Very sad for the children and their mother who may have to suffer so much from here on in.  

Hope she can recover fully and quickly to benefit her children.

The other people, perhaps mostly children, at the school must have worried too. Hope the mother recovers and able to continue taking care of her children. Sad.

You do not seem to mind when Thailand is compared "Badly"---and "wrongly" with western countries , but if someone points out that this is incorrect---then this is Thailand thread only...

Am I off my mind thinking this is the norm in the USA---no , only if Wikipedia is off their mind printing the figures--per population 4.58 murdered in USA - 3,5 in Thailand.

The crime committed was cowardly and despicable...but its not the first time anyone has read about it happening before in their own country.

However instead of the criminal getting the Blame---the whole country/people/ couture  gets the blame.

It only took to the 4th post---"Thailand the land of shootings" --- if you asked people around the world--where is the land of shootings.... I guess most would all say Thailand..huh

As long as people wrongly write that...then I will respond, if its not to your liking saminoz , then there is a little button you press so not to see my posts-- this might also help you not get to angry.

i disagree if your knocking around with bar or ex bar girls then sure you will be ripped off, on the other hand if your going with decent women with decent jobs or business women, its less likely you will get ripped off unless your a fool.

im not saying all women with good jobs and upbringing are good but there are quite a lot, that are good. dont you ever forget that and you will not get ripped off !! again
