He's seen many corpses - but this gave foundation medic the heebie jeebies!

Sanook reported on a story of a foundation medic who got more than he bargained for when he went to investigate what he thought was some people having a drinks party.

Instead of finding night time drinkers he stumbled across a deserted Chinese grave.

The story spooked superstitious Thais who shared it 12,000 times.

Somporn, 54, was doing his duty in a job looking after some land and cattle in the area of Ban Chang, Rayong.

Somporn, who works for the Puttham Songkhro foundation in his spare time, heard the sound of people having a loud drinks party at 2am and went to investigate.

He saw nothing at first but then got on his bike and went further into a eucalyptus grove when the sound of the happy chatter got louder and louder - it sounded like Chinese to him.

As he got to the end of the grove he was shocked to find something he had no idea was there - a disused and overgrown "Huang Sui" or Chinese gravestone.

He turned on his heels and drove as fast as he could away from there.

He said he has been used to some scary things like experiences with corpses many many times in his career as a foundation worker.

But this really put the hairs up on the back of his neck.

Sanook went to the scene and found the grave - with the locals telling them that mysterious things happen there. No one dares go near it.
