Good samaritans interrupt sexual assault in mall toilet

A woman escaped an alleged sexual assault by a Bangkok mall security guard on Thursday morning thanks to the timely aid by passers-by, according a Thai user of Facebook, who shared a video clip of the incident and told the story as a precautionary tale.

 

A Facebook user named “Atom Kamolphu” warned that women should beware going alone to public-access toilets located in isolated corners.

 

He cited an incident in which an unnamed woman – wearing a long-sleeve shirt and long pants – walking alone to a toilet was allegedly attacked by an unnamed security guard at 9am on Thursday at a second-floor mall toilet in the Rajapreuk area. 

 

“Atom Kamolphu” claimed the ill-intentioned guard followed the woman and locked the toilet’s common door before trying to sexually attack her. A passing-by worker heard her cry for help and banged on the door and shouted for others to come and rescue the woman. The timely intervention of the good samaritans saved the woman and resulted in capture of the suspect, who was handed over to the police, said “Atom Kamolphu”.

I would say more resulted than  the capture of the suspect....a good beating too

This is excellent news as some one has finally stood up to a wrong doing & gave him what he deserved 

It seems as these attacks are starting to become as frequent as motor accidents

Good....I hope that public humiliation will stay with him for the rest of his time watching his back at the graybar Hilton.

A job collecting 5 baht outside the toilets would be more appropriate

Well done, I hope they kicked the shit out of him....

I thought that security guards were there to stop such incidents, not initiate them.

Really?  When was the last of these "common attacks" reported?

Did anyone tell this clown that there are bars that he can go to, and he has a choice, the girls can love him long time or short time.

 

Hope he gets a long serving and not the usual 500 baht and Wai

 

Got to feel for the victim, would have been terrifying to say the least, and good on the guys for coming to her aid, no doubt drawing some good shots on the ting tong security gaurd

Why is it necessary to boldly point out that she was wearing a - long sleeved shirt and - long pants". 

What if she was wearing - a short sleeved shirt and - short shorts. 

Would the assault have been considered her fault for being out at 9am with holidaymakers attire?
