Popular Post LivinginKata Posted March 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2018 No surprise there. Comes a time when the Phuket sewage discharge catches up with Phuket ... Only took 30+ years 13
Popular Post lovelomsak Posted March 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2018 Chinese will still come no worries. 2 2
Popular Post Darcula Posted March 2, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 2, 2018 TATs click farm must've been caught off-guard on this one. 1 6
RichardColeman Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Time for the TAT to issue a new clean up tax called the Bournemouth tax on all foreigners ! 1
Popular Post Denim Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 Wasn't so long ago pictures of Scottish beaches were used to promote Thai ones. 1 1 2
Popular Post jaiyen Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 Now TAT will do their own survey and the results will put Thai beaches at the top ! 7 2
Popular Post outsider Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 Without a shadow of doubt Thailand does have quite a few really beautiful beaches, but Phuket? I really cannot imagine how any of the beaches in Phuket can be in the Top 50 (never mind Top 25) beaches... (pause Jeremy Clarkson-style)... in the world! 1 3
Popular Post Lupatria Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 Now I wait for the news: Thailand's self installed PM suspects Gambia's Tourism Minister behind the ranking. 1 3
Popular Post GRIMMY Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 Lived in Bournemouth for 6 years, and yes the beach is very nice. It’s a shame you can only use it for about 1 week a year because it’s so f*#king freezing! 8 10

Popular Post toofarnorth Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 When I think of Bournemouth I think of pensioners taking the sea air , so a bit like Phuket then . 2 1 1
Krataiboy Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 But the Bournemouth water's cold and the massage not as hot. 1
geisha Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 The Philippines have the best beaches for me so far. Though I’m going to French Polynesia and the Cook Islands next October so I’m hoping to see the best beaches and scenery. Thailand could have beautiful beaches if they weren’t so dirty with foul water. They weren’t always like that ! 2

hobobo Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 So banning smoking and cigarette butts didn't really help? I knew it wouldn't. Suggest Thai authorities look for blame closer to home and leave farangs alone for a change! 2
PAIBKK Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 They might hit the World Top 25, whenever there would be a ranking on smoke free beaches...
Khun Ed Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Totally ridiculous! Who voted - people who have never left England? I would call it more of a broad brown sand bank next to a cauldron of brown ice water. 1
PEE TEE Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 I can believe it. Chaweng beach is covered inTar i saw myself the ferries dumping used oil into the sea coming back from donsak. although the sea looks great on a sunny day i have not been in for over 2 years rather use a swimming pool . many now are cleaning their feet and the tar is even in the resort toilets someone was scraping it of with a knife as it was left in the sink . 1

ronaldo0 Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 Not been to the first two beaches but have been to place in third. Cuba has the cleanest beaches with the clearest water I have ever seen . Most of the ones I have seen in Thailand don't even come close . 1
geoffrobbo Posted March 3, 2018 Posted March 3, 2018 perhaps now the Thai authorities will realize that beaches and the surrounding water need to be kept clean Unfortunately I can't really see that happening 1
Popular Post spidermike007 Posted March 3, 2018 Popular Post Posted March 3, 2018 I think it could have made the top 9,000 list, if someone was paid a sufficient amount to get them on the list. Want to talk about really spectacular beaches? There are so many spots with amazing beaches. Not sure if I have ever seen one in Thailand, that would make the top 500. Tikehau Island, French Polynesia. Can't decide whether you want white- or pink-sand beaches? ... Dreamland Beach, Bali. ... Bathsheba Beach, Barbados. ... Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands. ... Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda. ... Harbour Island, Bahamas. ... Blue Beach (La Chiva), Vieques, Puerto Rico. ... Trunk Bay, St. John, USVI. Maipio Valley Beach, Big Island, Hawaii Parrot Cay, Turks and Caicos Lindquist Beach, St. Thomas Palm Beach, Aruba Honopu Beach, Kauai, Hawaii 4
