The raid on a ‘sex seminar’ in love-making in Pattaya last week has grown into an international story of intrigue with links to the ‘Russia-meddling-in-US-election’ ongoing investigation.

A Belarusian escort, with close ties to a powerful Russian oligarch said from behind bars in Bangkok, yesterday that she had more than 16 hours of audio recordings that could help shed light on the ‘meddling’.

The New York Times is reporting that the escort says she will hand over the recordings if the US grants her asylum. Anastasia Vashukevich, self-appointed ‘sex expert’ and Instagram model, faces criminal charges and deportation back to Belarus if found guilty for working in Thailand without a visa at a the seminar held in Pattaya.

You think she would be safer in Russia?

Don't think she is safe anywhere now as can be seen from recent and past events in the UK. The Russians have a very long reach that can be holding some rather nasty substances.

And if you pay me Ten Million... I will show you that Jimmy Hoffa is not dead, and living in Pattaya and owner of a Ladyboy bar.

You have to stop and think about what she is saying if she had any dirt on anyone, she would have sold it a long time ago...Now if she said she had a sex video of Her and Bill Clinton, now that I would believe!

The answer is 'probably nothing'

But kudos to the girl for playing a good hand!

Better to go out in a blaze than a whimper.

Either way going out.

Even if she has little information she is vanishing in Russia.

Not at all safe in the UK. Yesterday Sergei Skripal an ex Russian Colonel spy (exchanged for some Americans) was hospitalised in critical condition with unknown poisoning. Some time ago oligarch Boris Berelofsky was found dead in the bath of 'unknown' causes. Some years ago Alexander Litvinenko was killed with radioactive poison. Russians have no hesitation about assassinating abroad.

Maybe safer in the USA.

Me thinks the Don might put the mockers on her heading for the US of A now that she's opened her mouth, bad move.

Given her choice of profession, I hardly think that this is the first time she's opened her mouth.

There have been three suspected murders in the US since 2014 that have been linked to Russia; Mikhail Lesin, the founder of Russia Today, Sergei Krivov, the diplomat with links to Trump, and Vitaly Churkin, the UN representative.  There is no reason to imagine she would be safer in the US, I imagine the Russians would have more assassins available in the US than in most countries.

She might know something.

But she's too much of a hot white Russian potato now.

I think it would have been smarter to seek asylum in Ecuador rather than the USA.

It could have even been conditional.

She seems to think very logical and doing her job in the States will result in a lot of cash. I don't think that she knows where Ecuador is.

Perhaps but she still might have something. I wouldn't say likely but still possible.

Just some curiosity questions;

- From where would she get hold of  ... more than 16 hours of recordings which would shed light on the ongoing 'Russia meddling' investigation in the US. ?

- Was she present when the conversations, on the tapes, were conducted?

           - Could she personally identify the actual people who were recorded?

          -  Can she provide any proof that the tapes are genuine?

             Etc.

If she is in custody and also in possession of the "recordings", wouldn't it make sense that the Thai authorities already have possession of these so called "recordings".  Obviously she can't access the recordings in Belarus if she is granted asylum in the US.  So the recordings are with her or on her phone.

Easy solution is to turn over her phone to the US embassy and send her back to Belarus.

Mrs Litvinenko sends her regards.

With the White House and the US State Dept on Russia's side the lady doesn't stand a chance.  If she does get asylum in the US there will soon be a fatal case of food poisoning or a road accident.
