Two teens arrested for Hua Hin shooting taken on reenactment

Police in Hua Hin have announced the arrest of two of the four teens responsible for the shooting of a chef's assistant on Monday night.

Kittichai "Nat" Bunrat who worked at a restaurant in the holiday town was gunned down by a shotgun blast as he rode home from the 19 Rai Queen's Park.

At the park there had been an argument between the victim and four youths all aged 19.

Two have been arrested and were taken on a reenactment to the park and the scene of the shooting yesterday at the end of Soi 41 on Petchkasem Road going south.

Pol Col Thanakorn Wongsirilak said that the shooting resulted from a drunken argument that started at the park. The gang didn't like the way the victim looked at them as they were leaving the park so they followed him and shot him.

Two men remain at large and are being sought.

None of the men have been named and were just referred to as Kai, Pet, Petch and It in the Talknewsonline story.

No charges were mentioned as yet.

Saw the reenactment show today....

They take that stuff seriously.....At least 100 cops plus several rescue workers were involved....traffic was stopped and redirected.

Even the ambulance to take the "victim" away was there.....I was at The Baguette having a coffee...great entertainment for half an hour...:whistling:

Jail the bastards for at least 20 years.

That's all they deserve and spread the news all over - it could be good deterrence, as no matter how stupid some can get, at one point nobody wants to play Miss Butterfly in jail for 20 years and have to entertain other bodybuilt tatooed nasties.

100 cops to watch how a crime was committed. Great use of resources here.

I'm not a fan of the RTP  but, credit where it's due, in this case they have half the culprits in custody after just 2/3 days. No doubt the others will be tracked down quickly.

The re-enactments are certainly strange to our Western eyes (probably wouldn't be allowed under sub judice laws) but they do make it harder for the killers to retract their confessions.

Guess you should go down on the watching of too many american action movies.  Otherwise I agree with you that 20+ years would be a good start.

Or the cop let the guy use his gun for true realism and got shot for 100% realistic effect.
