Ross Kemps Britain Series 01

Ross is at it again in this new (?) series; i just got it a couple of days ago. It is a pretty un-bias series about what is happening in the UK. Three part series:

1. Immigration

2. Sexual abuse of minors/adolescents

3. Alcohol abuse

To be fair, it is well worth watching for anyone out of touch with the UK for a while. Might be a bit 'dramatic' in places, but does show the changing trends.

Should be available in the usual places; rarbg & extratorrents for sure.

Surprised how cheap some of the rocket fuel is in the 3rd part......................wink.png

Tv Series - Animal Kingdom

This one is based on the terrific Aussie movie of the same name.

Was slightly disappointed in the pilot TBH.
Understandable I guess seeing how good the movie was.
Will continue with it to see how it goes.

IMDB: The series centers on 17-year-old Joshua "J" Cody, who moves in with his freewheeling relatives in their Southern California beach town after his mother dies of a heroin overdose. Headed by boot-tough matriarch Janine "Smurf" Cody and her right-hand Baz, who runs the business and calls the shots, the clan also consists of Pope, the oldest and most dangerous of the Cody boys; Craig, the tough and fearless middle son; and Deran, the troubled, suspicious "baby" of the family.

Series 3 of 'Line of Duty' is currently 2 episodes into its run.

I found both very enjoyable this morning smile.png

Yep

Line of Duty has been mentioned on here several times before.

It really is a quality show.

Episode 3 of 6 (series 3) has just been released.

I have the Christopher Walken one up and ready to watch. I love that man, that flying dancing vid he did a few years ago still makes me laugh.

Another thing to watch is Billy Connolly's Tracks Across America. Billy just brings his dry sense of humour right in there!! I love that man!!

Ross Kemp, i do find his documentaries interesting - it's his droning voice i can't stand.

People make fun of Stacey Dooley and her documentaries - but at least she has a laugh!! Her last three ones about sex were rather amusing.

I wish Louis Theroux would do more documentaries - his are usually always right on the button.

I agree ,except for Stacy Dooley the woman is a complete moron , i actually met her she has a brain the size of a pea and was told the most amazing lies when she was here and swallowed the lot .

Recommend a very gripping, suspenseful, slasher style movie called HUSH. Also THE INVITATION, very well acted and an interesting plot.

They call it Myanmar: lifting the curtain

Interesting documentary, but also quite depressing. I was going to go on holiday there but not after watching this. The guy who made this has done nothing to help the Burmese tourist authority. The last 20 minutes gives Burma and it's people such a bleak future that in my opinion doesn't help the country move forward but labels it as a hopeless cause. Anyone seen a documentary about Burma that has hope for their future please let me know.

I suffered through all of Frank & Cindy, both Mr Right and One more time got about 15 minutes before they were axed. The Christopher Walken movie was downright embarrassing.

Oh Patsycat, I have to disagree with you on the Stacy Dooley thing.

Now, not being British, maybe she has some special place in the hearts of Brit's, but frankly for me I've watched a couple of thing's she's done and couldn't actually believe somebody paid good money for this. Awful, superficial, nonsensical, I could go on. Maybe they could be defined as fluff, at best, but please. billing them as serious documentaries stretches disbelief a tad too far.

But my Anglophile faith in the documentary was restored after watching Ian Hislop's 'Workers or Shirkers'.

Ian Hislop is a naturally funny guy, and when he applies his talent to rather serious subjects, doubly effective

Who snuck Tech advice in the pub...? ;)

Catching up on latest season of Gotham. I enjoy it, but imagine it's losing viewers.
