Once again in the Phala area a nice weekend finishing on the highlight of the great brain dead and unthinking locals in the area, who must have been champing at the bit while everything was wet, 3 days since the last little shower, are out there burning everything.

If you took the collective brains of 90% of the locals, converted them to TNT and exploded them on top of your head,  they wouldn't blow your hat off on a windy day.

Once again a pleasant evening totally ruined by the great unwashed in the Phala area burning crap in the gardens.

What is it with these people?

Are they dumb, stupid, uncaring or uneducated or a combination of all four.

It would be wonderful if BKK money bought everything here as an EEC investment and left the land and houses empty and all the local yokels and imports just moved out.

With all of the smoke in Phala its a pity no one has thought about creating smoked fish down there. An enterprising individual could start doing kippers & smoked cod ????

With all the money spent building and supplying the new municipal Banchang Fire Station (behind Bangkok Bank on Sukumvit), it should be worth a go calling them out to douse (or at least give a bollocking to) any local fire-bugs.

If they make the dolts pay for the Fire Brigade call-out, it would sent a message pronto..

It's a general concept/belief that a pile of cut grass and garden leaves slowly smouldering all day 'scares' away flies and mosquitos so it makes the place healthier.

The often added plastic bags and styrofoam food containers are probably considered to add the certain scent they all love so much.
