TOT Thailand, Skype doesn't work...

Featured Replies

Hello, as the title suggests Skype doesn't work on the TOT broadband in our house, is that something I should call TOT about or is TOT policy? Thanks...

You should call TOT and perhaps check out whats available on other packages in your location. You may need a simple "tweak" or a re-think as it can vary dramatically dependent on location.

There was no cable in my area to connect to. Every situation is different, give'em a call and explain what you need is my suggestion.

Is this a new thing or has it not worked forever? Does anything else not work? Does it not work on all devices (PC, smartphone) or only one?

Have you restarted your router and device?

I use Skype regularly and have no issues with TOT fiber, it works fine.

It's long ago that I used Skype practically.

So I started and did the echo test.

That worked fine.

Windows 10, ToT fiber

Skype works just fine for me on ToT fibre in northern Bangkok.

I note our OP has not returned since just after he made his post, I wonder if something more serious was going on.
