Should apply to 80% of Thai drivers whatever their age.

No problem in this country. Judges still need to pay their respect to her because she is more senior.

not to make light of a serious subject but I hope the woman in the blue dress at the end of the video is around when I crash.:clap2:

My very attractive 17 year old step daughter was dressed like that once, I told her she isn't leaving the house like that, she cheekly lifted her dress, underneath she was wearing jeans shorts.

She doesn’t have a license therefore no insurance

Not in Thailand. When I was renewing our pickups insurance there were options to include drivers without a license. Of course I chose this to cover my brother in law. Maybe one day he will get a license and we will save a few baht.

I avoid intersections at all cost. I will take the overpass with the no motorcycles sign any day rather than take my chances at an intersection. I wonder how many vehicles the police sitting there watch go through red lights.

Quite agree, every year after 21 years old.

Which company was that with please? I need to teach my step daughter to drive, but obviously she does not yet have a license.

Agree, annual re-tests for Thais should be compulsory after the age of 18!

In Thailand you just cant follow the trafic rules as nobody else do - to minimaize accidents and increase Your survival rate you cannot take anything for granted and constantly monitoring the trafic - expect the worst to happen anytime and anywhere - happy driving and all the best of luck...:wai:

Just another brain dead super spas, at least the monk knew enough to do a runner

I would imagine never had a license in her life.certainly caused some damage

Whats the problem, surely  she can just drive herself????

That would depend on whether or not she will encounter any sets of traffic lights

Like all good holy men, the monk who was riding with her decided to flee the scene.

Sounds more like Alzheimer's related problem. Confused, amnesic.

I agree about blue dress but it's really a NICE short SKIRT.

I'm seeing a couple hours of community service in her future.

Helping to maintain traffic lights maybe

What good does it do when 30% of the country simple drives without a license?

Agree. Yearly retest after whatever the lowest legal driving age is will be perfect

Safer roads "may" happen if having a initial test that required actual driving skills and road sense in the first place! before worrying about a "retest" ?

How old is this news, look at the date stamp, also I saw the clip years ago....could this be fake????

And so it goes on . grannies on motorbikes also dangerous and no lights on 100s of bikes and even cars at night . Waiting for the next post it won't be long .

That was so close to serious death toll. A fraction of a second later, a faster take off by the motorbikes and they would all have been totaled. Who cares about green lights...always look before you drive away.

I discussed this topic with my GF and she told me the monk could have been a ghost. Just FYI.

But it is not possible to undertake a re-test if one was never taken in the first place

She'll be wearing what my Wife  calls  her "protector pants" on under that excuse of a frock, so u may be disappointed

"Protector pants" - Rugby Union Spandex tights under the shorts.

Wow granny was going at a fair old lick... red light jumper at Mack II  almost !

Time to hand in the licence... if she has one that is?

Simply not thinking of consequences.

Very common.

I’m smarter and I won’t stop, huuuuuuhaaaaaaa. ??

Age is no excuse. If she's forgetful, incoherent, confused blah blah blah then she shouldn't be driving, to start with!

Good job they put that big red circle around the truck otherwise I wouldn't have known where to look.

Yeah...but those are all "nanny states", with no personal freedom, so many here on TV love so much!

They are also the states with way lesser traffic- deaths, but that is not as important!
