They're court officials as in part of the Judicial Branch of government and not part of the Executive Branch of government (ie., the Prayut administration) currently controlled by the NCPO (aka junta). Who better to receive special benefits from those that might be or become complicit in crimes past, present and future against the State?

Worse is that court officials cheerfully accept these free benefits with no apparent concern for actual or perceived conflict of interest. And worst yet there is no anti-corruption agency who questions such relationship.

The PM probably set the example when he gave out 153 million baht worth of free housing all over the country to his his junior Public Relations officers and their families. All to spread the good word in the start up of the junta election campaign (mobile cabinet meetings). Good enough for the PM then good enough for judges and other senior civil service freeloaders.
