Forum very slow and pages not loading

I am very slow at reading so i dont notice!

Well today , for the first time since the delay was "fixed" , I get 520 and 525 error pages.  Several times for the last hour. But seems okay right now.

for me the "Twilight Zones" at :02 and :32 pass the hour have stopped.

 

and everything is loading with only a slight delay. not really an issue.

 

now can we please get rid of the purple.

Yup, got the 'error 520' malarkey once yesterday, & at around 04, the page wouldn't load.

Did the storm blow the forum migration to another platform away?? ????

We are still on the sick server it appears - the 02/32 issue seems to have been resolved but still have slow loads at times and have had below error at least six times in last week when trying to load forum home page - reload always works.

Thai Visa connects still crap. Cant delete notifications, and puts up No Topic when U clik on a reply. Android or IOS phone

All good my end on Connect app on IOS except for when you reply to a thread it doesn’t automatically subscribe you , but otherwise loading etc as normal .

Promises of moving to a better and faster server, it did not happen.

I think Thai visa has become a bit too Thai in their behaviour.

Posted at 10:14 & afterwards just couldn't get the site to load.

 

Has management considered that the many advertiser's on here will be annoyed that the site is slow or inaccessible, & has been for a long time?

The oldest excuse in the book in IT is "slow servers", when in fact the software is crap.

The move was cancelled at a forum users request because of that storm thingy.

That was the point, I knew about the storm thingy (read the whole topic here). The storm is long gone. Prayut took care of that with his prayers????

Are you perhaps eating your cookies?  Do you sign out each time?  I only had it appear once on initial sign in but stay signed in and do not remove cookies.  Perhaps if you turn off notifications in Windows 10 it might also stop it?  I found it more of a pain than a help.

It was a huge improvement, but I've noticed several major delays creeping in from time to time, and they are getting more frequent every day.

 

And the site metrics are just a joke.

I agree, delays are creeping in it was quite good now its getting a bit more slow

sorry to say, the forum is slowing down again. 

 

i noticed a correlation between the slowness and when KhunProletariat posts about leaving Thailand.
