Every one who hits the Thai roads on a regular base knows that driving here is one big adventure, dogs running into the street, drivers hitting the breaks and only open their indicators after they start to turn. Cars or motorbikes waiting in a side street and wait until your really close, to slowly crawl into your lane and you don't know which side to pass them. Today I nearly crashed into a bus that was overtaking trucks where there were 2 yellow lines in the middle of the street. If I had been by car, a crash would have been unavoidable. This happens quite a lot and that is not the reason I post this. I met this bus several times now and every time the same story, except this time I had my cam working and caught his miserable grin on camera while giving him the finger.

Now that you've given him the finger he'll probably make doubly sure he gets you next time!

That is something you have to get used too in LOS, it will never change.

One just has to be prepared for shit to happen. Took me a couple of years to stop losing my rag over daft stuff....????

I always thought it was madness to buy a car and drive in this traffic, it took a while to realize that one simply cannot be in the hands of those sleepy, drunk, nut bus and taxi drivers. Although you can't escape them or all the other maniacs on the streets, at least you have control over your own vehicle.

Yesterday i saw the big red old bus racing 95 km/hr in the city. Overtaking everything, cutting all others off like he was the only one on the road.

This is Thailand, nothing will ever change since there is no police...
