Saudia Airlines - Choose Carefully
I do like the plan of breaking my journey and used to travel Eco on Emirates, then when I reached the age of "Grumpy old git" decided that on any flight longer than about 5 hours, I deserved (🙄) Biz class comfort, food, and chauffer-drive. If the flights are on the A380, Emirates is VERY comfortable. Also, last year, I was recovering from a shoulder injury so requested free "Mobility assistance" which was also excellent. I might try Qatar sometime though -

Another question about travelling with meds
150 mL in checked baggage should be no problem. I carry 700 mL of good Australian wine. The limit for hand carry liquids is 100 mL. If you divide it into two bottles, IMO you would be told to discard one of them. Have you tried the brown mixture, readily available in Thailand? It works a treat for nagging coughs with me. Contains tincture of opium. It is extremely unlikely you will be stopped at Thai customs for medications. I have been coming in with 6 months' worth for ten years without inspection. -

The Pelicot Rape
I'm curious to hear the opinions on this case from the 'sexperts' on this forum. According to the evidence and admissions made, Mr.Pelicot arranged the rape of his unconscious wife over a 9 year period. Over 70 men were alleged to be involved, and about 50 were tracked down and have been convicted of Mrs.Pelicots rape. I understand that in some instances the 'attacks' were multiple rapes by different men. My problem is that I really find it hard to believe that a woman could be regularly drugged into unconsciousness over a 9 year period without suspecting something. Furthermore, I think most women can tell when there has been sexual penetration of their body even if it occurred while unconscious - and more so when the penetration was by multiple dicks, and probably in a rough or aggressive manner. Am I wrong in that? All of this puts serious doubts in my mind as to the truth of this whole story, at least in terms of the womans shock and amazement at being shown the video evidence. Does anyone else find it strange, indeed unbelievable, that she was in total ignorance of what was going on? -

Saudia Airlines - Choose Carefully
Enjoy it while you can - you might have already discovered that even Suvarnabhumi has a train now. I've travelled with Etihad since they started in 2003 - the old 'flying saucer' airport was great. Most flights parked around it and all you had to do was simply walk across it to your next flight. Very few flights were remotely parked. -
