Cop out!

Do as ive done and give me a few quotes from these people - and i don't  mean joe blogs on a phone in, i mean people we all know. I quoted one for you in peter walton. Who are all these others?

I don't get it. If that would have been City who got the pen, I would have simply said we got away with a soft/dubious penalty. It happens and the luck went our way. That would have been the end of it

I've told you, get over yourself, it's history. It was a penalty, Rashie stepped up to the plate, and slotted home his first penalty, under immense pressure from the PSG players and the occasion. Scored aginst one of the all time great keepers. I know, as a plastic Manc and city supporter, you must be sick to your stomach, but you need to move on. You'll make yourself ill.

Nobody has said the opposite, only that many have said a VAR decision shouldn't have happened and the VAR decision should have been NO penalty.

I'm used to it but it won't change my opinion that you got lucky with that incident. Im surprised not one of you have said as such. We all get lucky in games from time to time.

Used to be a very opinionated Arsenal fan on here who was always telling us that luck evens itself out over a season, but like ghosts, ufos and other stuff, until its proven to me i don't believe it.

We can conclude that your claim of "most people" was a huge exaggeration as you've not even mentioned one.

The bit ive highlighted I've previously agreed with.

Don't you find that on here when people turn to namecalling it means they've lost the arguement.

Dont worry about me, I'm here all week :cheesy:

Exactly!

We were fortunate against WHU. Probably a pen but a bit soft as i said at the time.

Show a bit of honesty boys. You don't always have to tow the party line.

No, you don't get it. You are trying to claim he is a product of your youth academy. He's from Bradford and not like he joined you at 11. He was almost a man when he joined you and trained by someone else. United are just trying to claim the glory

You're right, he didn't join United at 11. According to the Manchester Evening News, he's been part of their youth development system since the age of 6.

Mason Greenwood

Thanks for the clarification Grove. In my defense, as I said earlier, I got the info from the United official website, which you would assume to be correct

I would imagine with a full strength team, none will fancy playing United

Point being the never stopped crying for 3 months after we beat them 5-1

I'd fancy United if you actually come out to play, and the game isn't stopped every 5 minutes.

It was a nailed on penalty, I will show you three pics as evidence you can clearly see his intentions to make himself has big as possible band get in the line of the shot, Also look at his eyes he is watching the ball all the time and just turns his head at the last second, If he was our defender I would be not pissed off about the penalty but him being so stupid to give the ref a decision to make.

Now can we put this to bed and move on lads.

Torreira's gonna be a big, big miss for them. He showed great quality against us this season.

We ain't going to slow down now and I wouldn't be surprised if we win all our last 9 games as after one win u can see the confidence there to win the next and the next so I really can't see us loosing another game city will be hard but at home n the form we playing will b hard to match but if anything I think a draw against man city is a good result

You're  wrong with your 3 months: we still haven't got over the injustice of the refereeing in those games. Pep brought it up just the other day didnt he. But we don't need to go over it again on here.

Now we can't. Go off realtime video not stills. Stills show little in comparison to realtime. It was not a penalty. Now we can put this to bed 555 ????

So do stills show speed of the ball, trajectory  of the ball, distance between players, what happened before and after the still?. No. Therefore not an accurate way of assessing a penalty. Nice try though chippy.

The video is on MUTV app which shows every way you want and I see Uefa have explained the reasoning behind awarding Manchester United a controversial penalty during their Champions League victory over Paris Saint-Germain this week.

The ABUs can whinge and moan all they like. The more they grizzle and howl, all the better -- with Ole and his coaches and this squad (which will improve in summer), there's going to be a lot for them to whine and cry about in future, so this is good practice for them. Come on, keep it up!

1. It was the right call. Kimpembe was 6-7m away when Dalot shot, which is not close. As Dalot shapes to kick, Kimpembe is facing him: he can see what is about to happen. He is running in from the side. He accelerates and jumps across the line of the ball. Then he starts to turn his back but also turns his head to watch the ball over his shoulder, and his right arm starts to come away from his body. So, it was avoidable: he could have run into the line of the ball, still facing Dalot, put his arms behind his back and tried to block  with his head or body. Instead, he chose to jump across in a way that meant there was a distinct, predictable risk of the ball hitting his arm.

2. We'd have scored from the corner, anyway.

3. The review caused a delay of 3m 9s. Yet 6m 9s were added to the 3m of injury time already called. Very generous!

I watch a debate on the game I think it was ESPN the show had Burley(hates United) Nichol( hates United) and Hislop and the host all agreed it was a penalty so no biased there, all agreed what the lads intentions was to stop the ball which he did but with his arms outstretched.

They all agreed it was a excellent tactical display by United and a week deserved win, I was shocked they are normally bitter like city fans so it was a joy to watch, Take not bitter blue you can compliment other teams now and again lad and admit you are wrong on the penalty, I know  more chance of he'll freezing over than that.
