Politics Thaksin Ends Friendship with Hun Sen Over Daughter's Scandal
You're not my friend any more. Ffs Thaksin may be political smart but Hun Sen has taken him for a joy ride. Once again. Thaksin actually thought deeply corrupt shared personal bussiness interests- ie, the Thai way - trumps hardcore national interest to a truly nationalist political leader like Hun Sen. Sucked in. Thaksin isn't a Nationalist - he is a 100% dedicated Shinawaraist and Hun Sen is a political genious. (as well as all those other names we rightfully call him.) -

Community Concern Over Indian National in Pattaya Allegedly Impersonating Police and Brandishing Gun
Picture courtesy of พัทยา จุดเกิดเหตุ Public alarm online is rising in Pattaya after revelations that an Indian national, reportedly operating as a volunteer with local authorities, has allegedly been impersonating a police officer and openly posting photos of himself holding firearms on social media. The man, whose identity was disclosed, is believed to have received a volunteer identification card signed by a former police superintendent or station chief. He has allegedly used the document to present himself as an officer, particularly when interacting with other Indian nationals in the area, raising concerns over abuse of perceived authority. What has shocked the public further is the individual’s social media behaviour. He has published images of himself wielding a gun, provoking fears about his intentions and the legality of such actions. Observers have questioned whether these displays were aimed at intimidation, creating an image of power or establishing a form of social dominance. Key Questions Now Being Asked: • Is it appropriate for a civilian, let alone a foreign national, to claim association with law enforcement? • What type of visa is this individual holding and what was the declared purpose of his stay in Thailand? • As a foreigner, does he have any legal right to own or carry a firearm? • Is the gun in the photos legally registered? Who owns it? Was permission granted? • What message was intended by posting armed photos, self-promotion, intimidation or influence-building? Public sentiment online, now demands immediate and transparent investigation by police and immigration authorities. Many are calling for an official statement to clarify the situation, prevent future impersonation, and ensure such acts are not repeated. “This cannot be allowed to go unchecked,” said one concerned poster. “We do not want a volunteer becoming a pretender. Firearms are not props for ego, they’re serious weapons that must be handled with strict regulation.” Authorities are being urged to swiftly examine the case and release findings to the public. The call for accountability is clear: no one, regardless of nationality or volunteer status, should be permitted to misuse symbols of authority or instil fear in the community.
