They will eat electrical wiring in the roof space and I had mine up there for weeks until I introduced the mothballs.

I read somewhere on here about the mothball trick, actually think it was Crossy. Use them in all our electrical control panels to stop gin joks shorting stuff out.

 

I even put them inside an outdoor TV after gin joks cost me B2,000 to repair the Samsung TV. I also put them in the switch box for the borehole pump after the breaker kept tripping, again, fried gin jok. Good tip.
