I use Meguiars Gold class cleaner and conditioner.

Available from Lazada if I have not been across the pond in a while

I just bought a bottle of that stuff through Lazada (https://www.lazada.co.th/-i237400-s238340.html?urlFlag=true&mp=1) a week ago.

I wanted to try it on a set of leather saddlebags I bought for the bike. The first coat I did, I only applied to one saddlebag. I rubbed the stuff in with a light vigour and the rag was quite dirty by the time I was finished.
The next day I (lightly) applied a thicker coat and let it sit for a couple hours and then wiped it off with a clean cloth, which came away much cleaner. The bag looked a lot nicer compared it to the one I hadn't touched. Did the same thing to the other bag.

Just looked at them this morning actually and while they looked fine I decided to apply another coat to both bags and let them sit for awhile. The leather did seem to be a little "suppler" than before.

(I actually applied a thick coat to each bag and came inside to check my mail and have a coffee and saw this thread in the ThaiVisa newsletter that had just been sent out.)

Note: If you search for "Leather Conditioner" or "Leather Cleaner" or any other "Leather" product on Lazada - check the seller ! If it says "TK Shop" - don't bother ordering it ! I tried ordering a leather treatment product and after 2 weeks the order was cancelled and my money refunded.

Tried to order a different product. Again, after it was overdue for delivery, the order was cancelled and my money refunded. That is when I noticed that both orders had been from the "TK Shop".

I searched for some other products and it seemed almost all of them were offered by that same shop. Not sure why they aren't processing the orders (could be a whack of reasons of course).

That's when I found that listing I linked about. That order went through and was delivered 3 days after I placed the order.

I used this once on my seats, Worked fine. Don't bother now as the place I have my Lump valeted does it for me. Part of their service. As you can see it's covered in dust. Lack of use.

Obtained from Big C. Sorry cant tell you a price but wasn't expensive a few hundred BHT.

As I had same question , but for a white leather L sofa seat ..,I looked google , and it seems that for different leather there are different products as aniline leather and smooth leather and full nerve leather and even split leather exists , even not knowing which one I have , assuming it is smooth leather as feels soft much..

So I wonder if buying in Big C or similar would be the one needed as not for car seats?

Also there is Leather cleaner ,leather protector , leather tonic /spray & crème …. too much to make up  choice ?

When you purchase a luxury car, there are certain things you expect. Cutting edge technology, supreme comfort and premium performance are certainly among them. Often times, people also include leather upholstery in that conversation. While it’s true that some Mercedes-Benz models offer leather seat trim as a standard feature and every model has leather upholstery has an option, many Mercedes-Benz models come standard with MB-Tex upholstery. To help you understand exactly what that means, we’ll answer the question “What is MB-Tex upholstery?” and explain how it stacks up against leather.

Leather seats are very nice but they need more care than the body paintwork that folk here keep going on about...

We got sun tan oil on our beige leather first week ownership of car. It left a darker colour on the seat squab tried everything to get it off but still there now we have towels over them !

The leather on the interiors is very different we have an older Bentley Brooklands in the UK and the seats are true hide. But a lot of modern leather is either anolised (I think that’s correct) or is thin cut and bonded into a cloth back. I think like our Toyota pick up pribably is.

Also be careful as if I’ve cleaned the leather and fed it on both our Toyotas but not our BMW, then leave for the UK for a few months moulds sometimes form on the leather in patches, (So far it’s wiped off ok and not marked) but never if not recently fed. It’s happened on a few diffent products but not Autogly which I bring back. I think there are animal fats in some of the Thai products but not certain.

Also as we leave tha cars and bikes for sometimes a few months I’ve stopped washing them for the few days before we go as not sure if it left them damp even off our feet and encouraged the mould.

an upholstery repair guy told me years ago when repairing a new suite damaged by delivery that to maintain just wipe over weekly with a baby wipe, keeps it clean and helps nourish the leather (the suite came with its own fancy presentation box of a bottle of cleaner and bottle of maintainer) This guy said yes use the box but weekly just a wipe over with a baby wipe. I done this for years now on  my leather suite and in my Merc and all still look and feel great.

Simple question , as I am a  non Anglo speaker , what do you understand by a baby wipe ?

A 50 baht pot of the universal cleaner seen in 7-11. White plastic jar/pot with light blue top. No English on the tub!! It works on leather shoes so ergo....good for shoes that are neither black nor brown.

Spread on, wipe off cloth turns dirty. I use a sponge to apply.
