Most of the workers deal with "seamen" on a daily basis, even when the Navy isnt in town !:whistling:

Could always stretch a condom over the ship to prevent the seamen penetrating the town ...????

Welcome US Navy, hand salute.

More juvenile comments, most likely as a result from alcohol damaged brains. Based on their comments, "service" is a word many here can only relate to their debached lifestyles.

google . "anger management"

Last time I was I pattaya and the 7th fleet was due in, there was the Shore Patrol Boy, supposed to be inconspicuous, ...white "Lacoste" shorts and white "Lacoste" polo shirts with a truncheon dangling from their belts, walking around in pairs.

Based on the current liberty policies of the USN it is unlikely they will be fully able to enjoy Pattaya. They will be required to travel in groups of more that two so intimacy (with someone else) becomes more complicated that needed. Also partaking in prostitutes is not allowed, luckily Pattaya does not have prostitutes and is a great family destination.

So group sex and orgies then... :whistling:

Missing too many details.

How long will the Navy be here?

Where are they playing music?

What/where are the volunteer projects?

Shallow reporting!

Remember when they actually anchored in Pattaya Bay.

I remember that. The launch dropped you off in front of TQ.

What is TQ?

We rode the cattle boats in from anchorage, transferred to needle boats, then jumped into the water and waded the last few meters ashore under the watchful eyes of street walkers, who attempted to make us turn left with them instead of right toward Walking St.  Seem to recall the first thing on the right was an open air bar with a Thai kick boxing ring.

They used to use the old pier near the north end of Walking St, When they stopped anchoring out in the bay the pier fell into disrepair, I understand they used to pay for it's up keep.

Before the Vietnam war Pattaya was just a sleepy fishing village, then the Americans based at U-Tapio found it, and the fishermans wives and daughters who were only to pleased to earn extra income while their men folk were out at sea, the rest is well documented history.

Maybe you want to look up who built the the first bungalows in Pattaya.  Suggest 5th RRU brass and JUSMAGTHAI.  U-Tapao had our own town and beaches no need to go to Pattaya.

Right, I've read a bunch of guys stationed in Korat were bussed down for a visit, enjoyed it, and it became a popular alternative to R&R in Bangkok.  That story seems to be copied from the Wiki page and used on a lot of other sites.

I never heard of the shore patrol trying to be "undercover".
