I couldn't pick my nose but was 4th in the margins.????

I'm looking forward to the wing battles.

Hunter,Brayshaw and R.Smith,Langdon.

Left footers v right footers and lots of running power.

The big question is about the umps.

Will it be a game of AFL or Rugby.

Voss the Boss.

Probably the best of what was left.

Now he just needs to assemble some assistants and make the finals next year.

Shouldn't be to hard????

Still exciting times for the Blues.

You getting nervous Alex, teams out today.

I'm not a fan of these night grannys.

It's the one day of the year it's ritual to awake to a beer and get the atmosphere of day rolling.

A nana knap pre game doesn't excite me so looks like it will be a 2 o'clock start.

Congrats on Goody getting the gong of the coaches, interesting that Clarkson has never made the list.

Awwwww should be a night GF, well it wont be night in WA, its a spectacle you know....

Well the Age says 'No stone unturned' Voss appointed Carlton coach.....yep they asked Lyon and Clarkson twice at least...now i dont mind Voss but he knows he was way down the line......way way way way way and waywaywayway down.......Radar and the good Dr should be happy its all over....you can only fit so many eggs on your face you know....

And what a turn up we got today, The Weed signs a new exclusive 2 year deal and stays at the Demons....there was interest in him so i wonder what changed his mind.....its well known Simon loves the guy, promises you think? would look good on a wing and part time ruckman, realises  Brayshaw from the wing back to the midfield.....so who is leaving? You think im kidding about sticking him on a wing? no sir im not thats where you put talented people who haven't come good or about to come good first......There was speculation that Angus could be put up for a swap for that Freo Mid, he has come out and said no way jose, hes not leaving and why would he he has a top class reputation now in that podcast with Max, a motor mouth, had Ed Langdon on this week and gees english has changed a lot since i went to school....Ed turns up in short sleeve shirt right out of a thrift shop, open with a tee shirt underneath shorts and a funny little hat turned up the front, has an amusing way of talking and probably a bit to smart for most of the players there, we found out Simon loves him too, apparently the fittest at the club, someone pinched one of his 6 coffee cups and its killing him....he says....pretty sure Angus is behind that though he stares red and blue he had nothing to do with it....Ed is not so sure....

Its a bit tough Jayden Hunt didnt get back in and is an emergency, Vandermer out for the Dogs, i like that....i rate him....No ins for us Keath and Wightman in for the Dogs.

Not nervous, the team is full of grown men though you would wonder if you watched any of Angus and Max's podcasts, well Max acts normal most of the time Angus on the other hand you wonder as he looks serious on match day there on the wing but when he is a full on camera he acts like a 2 bob watch, mind you he along with Langdon is a private school boy and doing part time uni it all seems to get lost in the translation.....

It would be fair to say most AFL supporters would be behind the Demons so thats that law of attraction thing going on....willing them over the line... previous 2 times we made the GF we came from way behind the pack and fronted up to the best team of the decade in the Hawks and the Best team in 100 years in the Bombers......this time we have been the best team all year with the Dogs a bit behind....now mind you Dogs are the team i didnt want to play in a GF like there the most efficient inside 50, there also efficient around the packs and there defence is just as good as ours, its on the day, dare to say if they target Big Max by trying to take him out the word is out the Demons are likely to not only stand up for Max but also target a Bulldog or two so that going to be the Bont or Libba, anyway i dont think they would you know do that Breareton thing by crushing him at the start of the game, i like the dogs cause they just go about there business and hard at the ball and who evers in the way....

We want a good solid close game...as you know the Demons are pretty good at keeping the other mob in the game so im expecting to to go down to the wire....with a little bit of luck and good planning we may come on top.....

Good luck Alex and Oz.

I'm glad the game is not in Thailand today.

40mm of rain already for the day and still coming.

Have the generator on standby and phone charge topped up in case of a power outage.

Mrs has gone to town so all bases covered for a good afternoon.

Well im not shy to say i thought we were a goners there mid way through the third....i was getting my mind around when i should switch off the telly....then a youthful Harmes snatched the ball from a Scray near the boundary on half forward and with pin point accuracy puts it just in front of Bayley Fritch who gaoled then shortly after the gates opened up....

Bayley kicked 6 gaols and at least 3 when they were needed the most and was my pick for the Normie but of course a mid always gets it....

Thought they did a good job of harassing Christian for half the game not many of his 39 possessions were clear cut and damaging especially in the second and third....

Anyway it was like i was in the trenches shell shocked with 6 gaols in 4 min so mr Bookman informed me this morning...

Nice feeling and i can now die in piece, pretty sure a few here would get peed off if we keep rocking up for that one day in September for the next 2 or 3 years.....i just dont want us to be the Richmond of 1980 where they came out of nowhere won the flag then retreated to nowhere again...

The Demon shop should be doing a roaring trade this coming week so i better go look to see if they restocked the red cap men....

The Demons in full swing charity mode have reached out with new deals to Magic Door (Daw) who did not play a single game and must be approaching 40 as well as Mitch Brown who got on the field once this year and 3 times last year, approaching 50 both with oozes of talent just iching to break into the top 35....Club siting ample key position depth for the reason to hand these two 350,000 min a year contracts.....

Well with the 2.5 Million $ bonanza the club shop made in the month leading up to the GF and a few days after they have plenty to splash around...and no red caps in stock.....and i like to know what these supporters bought like i didnt want a pendant or penant with the cup and premiers and 2021 stamped all over it or a red and blue bottle top opener ...the only cap on offer had premiers tattooed in extremely large letters in the front and visible from the moon with out glasses on with the Demon logo tucked of to the side...no thanks not wearing that in Thailand......Will check back in months time to see if there stocking that normal red cap.....

The dream of landing Freo Adam Cerra is just that as his asking price only the Blues would be foolish to pay......yes the Demons could have landed him for a modest sum, after all the Suns have pick 3 up for grabs the club have turned into master blasters on the draft table, Freo want to rip the eyes out of the Blues like the Cats did to the Eagles and Gaints to the Cats, so far there just asking for a first and second round pick....but there will be more......

Mason Cox to the Swans anyone? Brisbane is where id be going......actually Gold Coast....no pressure....lots of sunshine...long sandy surf beaches....would be heaven after Melbourne.....

The new season starts all over again next week with the draft haggling.....

Crows camp organisers flag legal action

Collective Mind, the private training organisation involved in the now-infamous Adelaide Crows 2018 preseason camp, says it will seek “appropriate legal redress” in response to reporting of the scandal.

The leadership consultancy firm and the Adelaide Football Club were on Tuesday cleared by SafeWork SA of any breach of work health and safety laws from the camp that has been linked to a player exodus from the Crows and their subsequent spiral from finals contention.

An AFL Integrity Unit investigation also cleared the Crows and Collective Mind of wrongdoing, but noted the club should have shown greater care.

Collective Mind managing director Amon Woulfe said SafeWork SA’s ruling was “welcome, yet overdue, relief”.

“While we are glad this has finally been resolved, it should not be forgotten that these false and sustained allegations have had significant impacts on our business, our brand and our personal reputations,” Woulfe said in a statement late on Tuesday.

“We fully understand the important role the media plays in sport, however the media has an obligation to make sure its facts are correct.

“In our case, the reporting was incorrect, repeatedly inflated and deeply hurtful.

“We are still yet to receive any sort of retraction or public apology, and we will be seeking appropriate legal redress.”

In September last year, Woulfe said Collective Mind had chosen to proceed with defamation against Channel 9 and The Age.

The Melbourne newspaper in a report last year detailed several allegations from the camp, including claims players were greeted by men in army fatigues carrying fake guns, that they were intermittently blindfolded and that one player was initially denied medical aid after fainting during a team exercise.

Chortle....

The Demons and i forget which year it was now as its all a blur but again failed to me the 8 used  this mob or there approach up there in Queensland....what i do recall is now burnt into my memory was them fellas had clay bricks placed into there shoulder bags....a one Christian Salem forgot to buckle his up and when leaning over several of these sharp heavy clay bricks slid out on to his head......Was one of the best defenders on the ground during the GF so you know.....all is well when it ends well....
